When our team of thirteen men from six different churches left for the airport, we did not know how our hearts would be tested, or how we would be touched by the Lord, and the people of Cameroon .

The church building we worked on was started almost a decade ago, but remained unfinished because of difficulties designing and building the roof.

As we pulled up to the building for the first time, we were surprised by the task. The roof we came to build was on a two story concrete structure, 105 feet wide and 120 feet long.

Our first attempt to raise a 2-ton truss failed, and we had to regroup to redesign the trusses and change the method to raise them. At this crisis point, we were ministered to by the Holy Spirit, and we were able to remain steadfast in the midst of adversity and spiritual warfare.

Our devotional time taught us not to lose heart, and by uniting with our Cameroon brothers, we were able to raise the trusses. With the aid of our building funds, the roof is now complete, and we are able to give God all the glory.
